We are surrounded by the Cape Hatteras National Seashore for its many uses for fishing, kayaking, windsurfing, surfing, or deep-sea fishing, minutes away at Oregon Inlet, the billfish capital of the world. This is the beach where the movie "Nights in Rodanthe" was filmed.
There is a boardwalk to the pool and over the dune to the beach. We are within walking distance to shops, restaurants, Rodanthe Pier, and Waterfall Amusement Park. Rodanthe provides a more relaxing atmosphere than some of the other crowded and congested areas of the outerbanks.. There is always plenty of room at the beach. Rodanthe is also known for its kite surfing and sailboarding. It is fun just to watch. Rodanthe is convenient because it's halfway between Nags Head and Hatteras.
